Saturday, August 29 at 3 PM Idaho Humanities Council and Idaho Public Television present SACAJAWEA OF THE SALMON RIVER VALLEY as part of Roots of a Nation: An Idaho Film Festival. Idaho Experience’s Sacajawea of the Salmon River Valley, explores Sacajawea’s legacy through Shoshone-Bannock perspectives, offering insight into her life, her homeland, and her role in the journey West. Special Guest, Randy’L Teton will join the Saturday afternoon screening of Sacajawea of the Salmon River Valley. After each screening, historians and film scholars from the University of Idaho take the stage for a lively, engaging panel—perfect for curious minds of all ages to ask questions and dig deeper into the stories.
