About this event
Nece Pinkney, a Certified Dementia Practitioner from RUSH University, will be speaking on the types and stages of dementia, providing tips on how to navigate the caregiver journey, and providing helpful tips to caregivers on how to take care of their mental and physical wellbeing. Nece Pinkney is a Licensed Social Worker at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Nece graduated with her master’s degree in social work and is now working in the department of Caring for Caregivers at RUSH which is funded through the John A. Hartford Foundation. In Nece’s role, she assists caregivers with emotional support, enabling many of them to manage their caregiver role.
