Route 66: A 100th Anniversary Tribute

Take a virtual ride with international Moto-Journalist Koz Mraz and renowned travel writer Roger Naylor as they take you on a historic road trip down Old Route 66. The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Route 66: A 100th Anniversary Tribute” on Tuesday, April 28 at 4 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. It is the Mother Road’s 100th anniversary, and Northern Arizona has the longest intact and most iconic stretch of original Route66. Visit the Pine Breeze Inn, the very first location shot for the movie Easy Rider; Oatman, the burro-friendly town where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent their honeymoon; and the Grand Canyon Caverns, the largest dry caverns in the U.S. From the Dust Bowl Okie’s to the iconic TV show, Route 66, this “Main Street of America” is the most famous highway in the U.S. and arguably, in the world.
