Round Table Discussion- Free Will & Destiny

The Theosophical Society offers many free in person programs to the public to encourage reflection about spirituality, meaning of life and increase our body of knowledge. Let's participate in a discussion about two ideas that try to explain how much control we have over our lives and how much is already set in motion. Free will is the belief that: You have the ability to make your own choices that shape your life. Destiny is the idea that: Some experiences are inevitable or guided by forces beyond your control. Do these two ideas fight each other or is it more like destiny is the map and free will is how you choose to travel it?
