Bring two minutes of footage and leave with specific notes and a next step. Editors, actors, filmmakers, writers. Saturday afternoon, all levels, no credits needed. New day and new home: Saturday afternoons at Schuler Books. Daylight, real tables, coffee, and quiet enough to actually watch something together. WHAT TO BRING Two minutes of anything: a rough cut, a scene, a reel, one shot you can't get right, a page of script, a photo set. On a laptop or phone, plus headphones. Unfinished is the point — there's nothing to do with finished. Nothing ready? Come and give notes. A room needs people who watch as much as people who show, and learning to critique makes you better at your own work. WHO THIS IS FOR Video editors (Premiere, Final Cut, Resolve), actors who want reps and footage, filmmakers mid-project, writers, photographers, and anyone who's been circling this stuff and wants in. HOW THE AFTERNOON GOES 1:00 — coffee, introductions, who brought what 1:20 — first piece up, watch and give notes 2:15 — swap: editors need actors, actors need footage, writers need readers 2:45 — pair up on anything worth continuing Free to attend.
