Roots & Routes community event

The Chisholm is hosting a 1930s event on October 23 and 24 that will help you take a step back in time. On Friday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to noon, the museum will host educational activities geared towards schools and homeschoolers. The Chisholm’s staff and volunteers will be wearing period-accurate clothing representing different groups and organizations such as the Civilian Conservation Corps, Works Progress Administration, and more! Bring your learners to 605 Zellers Avenue in Kingfisher to learn about the roots and routes of the thirties. On Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the public is welcome to join in an open family day with free admission to the exhibit halls of The Chisholm and a bean supper and concert community event!
