About this event
Inspired by "ofrendas de flores" (flower offerings), participants will create their own floral tributes through felt collage. Guided by teaching artist Lucia Warck-Meister, they will learn techniques for composing, layering, and assembling felt to create vibrant representations of an ofrenda. Through this hands-on process, participants will reflect on memory, cultural traditions, and the people, places, or values they wish to honor. The finished artworks will be colorful, richly textured, and deeply meaningful. All materials will be provided. Please register for this program on this page. All children must be with an adult, so please do one registration per participant. Space is limited, walk-ins are not guaranteed. The program will take place in the 2nd floor meeting room.
