Join us for a seed saving program featuring Sadia Pollard, owner of Prosper Farm, where we will be harvesting our Okra seeds.Sadia is a Black queer southern farmer. She graduated with a horticultural degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2019. After working for the university farm and a small nonprofit farm in Western North Carolina, Sadia started Prosper Farm in 2021. Prosper Farm is focused on growing with deep intention, sustainability and ancestral guidance. Sadia is now tending land in Barnwell, South Carolina, and rebuilding Prosper Farm as a medicinal herb and Earth based experience operation.
