About this event
Go beyond the family tree. In this workshop, you will create a handmade genogram that brings your ancestry to life through watercolor, illustration, personal symbols, and copies of your own photographs and ephemera. Guided by artist-in-residence Kristin Simmons, you will explore the occupations, places, relationships, and stories that define your family’s history and connection to the people and land that shaped them. Large-format paper, watercolor, pencils, and adhesives are provided. All levels are welcome.
