Rock 101 Workshop

ROCK 101 WORKSHOP Do you want to learn to play music with other kids? Our Rock 101 workshop is for students 7 to 12 years old with some or no musical experience. It is also perfect for kids with experience on one instrument who want to explore another! Students will explore instruments (guitar, bass, keys, drums, vocals) and develop music fundamentals through games and activities (e.g., singalongs, name that genre, drum circle). Students practice songs every day and the workshop will culminate with a concert on Friday for family and friends! SCHOOL OF ROCK BURLINGTON ROCK 101 TYPICAL SONGS Zombie (The Cranberries) Sunshine of Your Love (Cream) Shake it Off (Taylor Swift) Island in the Sun (Weezer) Radioactive (Imagine Dragons) WEEKLY SCHEDULE Camp runs Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 2:30pm each day Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week! WHAT TO EXPECT Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and water.
