Robert Ellis at Live From The Divide

Texas singer-songwriter Robert Ellis comes to Live From The Divide with intricate guitar work, nuanced storytelling and a distinctive sound that moves between folk, country and jazz. His latest album, Yesterday’s News, strips things back to nylon-string guitar, upright bass and occasional percussion, creating space for Ellis’s delicate vocals and sophisticated songwriting. Drawing inspiration from artists including Nick Drake, Richard Thompson and Chet Baker, the record reveals a quieter, more intimate side of his work.
