About this event
Drop in chess sets up on the tables behind the Information Desk.. RK Chess Mates is a friendly drop-in chess gathering for players of all ages and skill levels. Chessboards are always available, so you can show up and play with other community members. Sessions focus on relaxed, self-directed open play. A facilitator may be available to teach or play, but it's not a guarantee. Players are welcome to bring their own boards if they want to play past the program end time. This program is hosted alternating Wednesday nights by Racine Public Library (1st & 3rd) and Kenosha Public Library- Northside Branch (2nd & 4th). Let the friendly chess rivalry begin!
