The Riverside Players present Neil Simon’s play Rumors for the 70th year of “Theatre in the Park”! Neil Simon’s play Rumors is a farce that centers on four affluent couples who arrive at a 10th-anniversary dinner party to find their host, the Deputy Mayor of New York, has a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and his wife is missing. In a desperate attempt to avoid scandal and protect their reputations, the guests engage in a series of cover-ups, lies, and misunderstandings that spiral into chaos. This year’s play is directed by Laura Frelich. Tickets go on sale on April 1st, 2026 on the Neenah Parks and Recreation webpage or in person at City Hall, 211 Walnut St., Neenah.
