Welcome to the Riverfest Native Expo “A Pow-Wow Experience” We are extremely excited to have this newly added attraction in the lineup for Riverfest 2026 events. On June 6, 2026 from 4-7 P.M on Kennedy Plaza festival goers will have a unique opportunity to experience the beautiful Native American Culture through dance, storytelling, and performing artistry. Bring the entire family because you and your clan will have an EXCLUSIVE invite to participate in some of the dancing with real Native performers! Wichita’s own World Champion Wichita War Dancer will be leading the event that will be both educational and entertaining. He has invited Native American performers from all across Native territories representing numerous Native American tribes. This is the kind of event that will create long lasting RiverFest memories for all ages. Be ready to experience the vibrancy of colors, movement, history and family fun!
