Take the stage at lower Mortensen Riverfront Plaza for RiverBarre, our free class taught by instructors from Hartford Sweat. Barre is a total-body-toning workout based on a combination of ballet movement, yoga alignment and Pilates core work. You'll feel the burn with these low-impact body weight exercises that incorporate resistance bands, yoga stretching and controlled breathing. Strengthen and sculpt your body and your mind! Bring water and a yoga mat, and wear sneakers. Suggested donation: $5; proceeds will be used to help us continue to offer classes like this one. Donate at the class, on our website, or on venmo @riverfrontrecapture Parking: Free parking is available on-street on both sides of the river for this class. Paid, convenient parking is available in the Connecticut Convention Center Garage – park on the fifth floor and use the exit on the north side of the garage, allowing direct access to the Convention Center, Connecticut Science Center, and Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.
