It's a great way to go "behind the curtain" and learn more about the music you will hear.** **1:00 PM | Masterworks Concert - First Half:** **The afternoon begins with two notable works:** **Eunike Tanzil: Ascending Creatures - A short, modern piece meant to sound like a flock of birds in flight.** **Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 4 - Experience a beautiful and poetic conversation between the solo pianist (Jean-Baptiste Doulcet) and the orchestra.** **2:00 PM | Intermission: Enjoy a brief 20-minute break to stretch or get refreshments.** **2:20 PM | Masterworks Concert - Second Half:** **The entire second half of the performance is dedicated to Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's epic masterpiece, Scheherazade.** **This orchestral suite musically tells the enchanting stories from One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Nights).
