Richmond Room - Main Library. What can personal documents tell us about Richmond’s past? This program explores the city’s history through diaries, letters, scrapbooks, photographs, newsletters, and other everyday archival materials created by ordinary people. Participants will learn how historians use personal archives to reconstruct community history and how individuals can preserve their own family and community records for future generations.
