Richmond Sailfest (2026)

Join a group of fellow photographers for the [Richmond Sailfest](https://virginiahistory.org/events/americas-250th/richmond-sailfest). The event includes displays of tall ships and other entertainment including live music performance, historical re-enactments, and more. This meetup event is scheduled for Saturday afternoon to coincide with a couple of the performances that will be interesting to photograph: The Swingers Jump Rope Team and a West African Dance performance. But there is plenty to enjoy and photograph in addition to these. (Including fireworks on Saturday at 9 over the James.) I will be in front of the stage at 3:00 for anyone who wants to join me. Location: Dock Street Park on the James (3101 Wharf Street) along the Capital Trail Parking: There is no specific parking for this park. Parking and transportation options are listed on the website.
