Richard Villa is a bilingual stand-up comedian and actor whose sharp, autobiographical humor draws from his upbringing in Compton, California. After earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he took a chance on an open mic at the Irvine Improv—and never looked back. Blending cultural insight with relatable storytelling, Richard quickly rose through the comedy scene, becoming the first Latino to host the iconic Friday night show at the Hollywood Improv. He went on to perform alongside top comedians like Gabriel Iglesias, Dave Chappelle, Mike Epps, and Russell Peters, while also touring internationally and entertaining U.S. troops across the globe. Richard’s crossover appeal has led to appearances on Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, MTV, and more, along with work as a writer and voice actor on MTV’s Chico y Guapo.
