KRMC + Cancer Partners of Nebraska Ribbon Run / Walk 2026 Saturday, Oct. 17th | 9:30 am | Kearney Cancer Center – Yanney Park Join us on Saturday, October 17 for the Ribbon Run/Walk, starting and ending at the Kearney Cancer Center. This annual event honors and supports those impacted by cancer while celebrating strength, resilience, and unity within our community. Proceeds benefit the KRMC Foundation Cancer Fund, supporting the Healing Arts program through meaningful artwork at the Kearney Cancer Center and providing vital patient assistance such as gas cards, food vouchers, comfort items, and transportation support—helping ease financial burdens so patients can focus on healing. The walk and run will begin and end at the Kearney Cancer Center, cross Yanney Avenue, and wind through scenic Yanney Park. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Participants may choose between: 1‑Mile Yanney Lake Loop Walk 5K Run through Yanney Park Event Schedule 8:15–9:15 AM: Check‑in at the Kearney Cancer Center 9:30 AM: Walk & 5K start Strollers, wagons, scooters, and dogs on leashes are welcome. Please note this is not a chipped or timed race, and bicycles are not permitted. Participants will have the opportunity to select a ribbon and write the name of an individual or group they wish to honor or support. Registration opens July 1, 2026, online. Cost: Adults: $30 for 5K Run + shirt included (Please register by Oct. 1st to guarantee a shirt) Children 12 and under for 5K Run: $20 + shirt included (Please register by Oct. 1st to guarantee a shirt) 1 Mile Lake Loop walk for all ages: $15 + shirt included (Please register by Oct. 1st to guarantee a shirt)
