Ribbon Cutting: PGICA 60th Anniversary Celebration

Join us for a very special Ribbon Cutting and 60th Anniversary Celebration honoring the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association (PGICA) and six decades of community, connection, and service! As PGICA celebrates its Diamond Jubilee, Mayor Lux will reenact the City of Punta Gorda’s anniversary proclamation, and a representative from Congressman Greg Steube’s office will present PGICA with a U.S. flag flown over the United States Capitol. PGICA President Ken Krause and Executive Director Matthew Baran will also share a few words as we recognize this incredible milestone and PGICA’s lasting impact on Punta Gorda Isles. Following the outdoor ceremony and ribbon cutting, everyone is invited inside the PGICA Auditorium for light food and refreshments. Come celebrate 60 years of PGICA and the people who have helped make Punta Gorda Isles the community it is today!
