RetroActive Field Trip: Christopher Elbow Chocolates

Christopher Elbow has been creating hand crafted chocolate bonbons and confections in Kansas City since 2003. We have booked a tour of his flagship shop on McGee Street. "The Cacao Experience" costs $10 per person and includes a welcome drinking chocolate (4 oz. Aztec Spice), 3 different origin tasting squares, a guided tour, a fleur de sel bonbon, and a one-time $5 store credit good the date of our tour. They will also donate $5 from the cost of each tour to an organization that supports sustainable cacao production and farmers. The 40-minute tour is limited to 12 people and is given 3 times a day on Thursdays and Fridays. We have purchased the entire 10:00 AM tour on Thursday, November 5.
