Dance Best for grades 5-12 Approx. 60 mins. For more than 35 years, Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater has been one of the nation’s leading hip hop and street dance companies. Based in Philadelphia, the company is dedicated to sharing the history, artistry, and cultural impact of hip hop through exciting performances, education programs, and community engagement. Nuttin’ But A Word is a high-energy celebration of street dance styles including locking, house, hip hop, and breaking (B-boying). Through athletic movement, creativity, and self-expression, the performers showcase the innovation and individuality at the heart of hip hop culture.
