Renaissance Swordsmanship - Open Training

About this event

NOTE: This class is closed to first-time students. This class is a continuation of the beginner's Renaissance fencing class, open to anyone who has completed that beginner's class. The class requires at least a fencing mask & gloves, but preferably arm and leg protection as well. This class continues with the fundamentals of the one-handed sword (sometimes called a side sword) as taught and used in 16th-century Italy, branching into the foundations of other Renaissance weapons including rapier, sword & buckler, and dagger - all of which are studied in more depth in our Core classes. TRAINING FEES: Our club's training fees are $40 / month for ongoing students. For new students, please refer to the Beginner's class meetup event.
