Join CareFirstNY and the Southeast Steuben County Library for a meaningful evening honoring Día de los Muertos—the Day of the Dead—a traditional Mexican holiday that celebrates and remembers loved ones who have passed away. The library will feature a community Ofrenda (altar). All are welcome to contribute by bringing photos or small mementos of departed family members, friends, or pets to be part of the display. The evening will include: Showing of Disney’s Coco (PG, 1h 45m, 2017) Food & Candy Button Making Crafts, activities, & more! Come learn about the rich cultural traditions behind this holiday and take part in a night of remembrance, reflection, and community. Refreshments and activities are free and open to all!
