Rehash is bringing grunge, classic rock, and alternative influences to the Opera House stage on Friday, October 30, at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Advance tickets are $30 for the balcony and lower level, and $40 for the first two rows and box seats (plus taxes and fees). Ticket prices increase by $5 on the day of the show. Friends of the MPOH can purchase tickets on September 16th at 10:00 am; the general public can purchase tickets on September 30th at 10:00 am. Rehash is a young rock band from Southern Florida bringing a fresh energy to indie, alternative, and grunge-inspired rock. The band began with high school friends Renzo Valdez and Sebastian Gamez, who shared a passion for creating music and eventually expanded the lineup with brothers Ethan and Daseth Lopez. Together, the four-piece has developed a sound that blends the raw edge of ’90s alternative rock with the melodic sensibilities of indie and modern rock, drawing inspiration from artists such as Radiohead, The Strokes, Panchiko, Nirvana, and Weezer. Since releasing their first single, “Power Trips / At The End,” in 2022, Rehash has continued to build an impressive catalog and following. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2023, followed by Mourning Star in 2024 and mock in 2025. Along the way, songs such as “Back to Strangers” helped introduce the band to a much wider audience, while their social media presence and creative cover performances have brought their music to listeners far beyond their Southern Florida roots. At its core, Rehash represents the excitement and unpredictability of a young band finding its own voice. With Renzo on vocals and rhythm guitar, Sebastian on lead guitar, Ethan on drums, and Daseth on bass, the group delivers an energetic mix of gritty guitars, memorable melodies, and alternative-rock attitude.
