About this event

Downstairs Community Room. This is a Sharing our Storiess initiative and one of our America 250 events. Hear a group of panelists share stories about how they interpret and apply the 1st Amendment in the context of today's political climate. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Book giveaways related to the theme of this event will take place after the program. Presented in partnership with the League of Women Voters, Sharing Our Stories brings our community together to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations through literature and our shared experiences. Sharing Our Stories is made possible through the generous support of the Kitsap Regional Library Foundation Refreshments will be available. Adults of all ages are welcome!
