Red Spring Ramble Scramble

Every time we do something different, sometimes depending on the weather, or attendees, or mood. Now that it’s getting cooler, the animals are more active— in the last couple of weeks, we’ve had 2 Great Horned Owls fly out of the rocks 10 feet above us, and a little gray fox that trotted ahead of us for a long way. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Fun! We’ll go up and around on Red Spring — you must have scrambling experience. Everyone signs up to a wait list. You MUST indicate that you read the entire hike description by ANSWERING the question that pops up when signing up. If you have a recent "no show", then you'll have to wait until the day of the hike to see if there's room for you. If I don't know you or if I can't determine your scrambling experience from your profile, then be prepared to detail your SCRAMBLING experience in a PRIVATE message to me. Details means a description of the climbing you've done and the people you did it with, and how long ago. If you do not do this, you will not go. So if you find yourself in a not going list, please look back to see if you've forgotten anything. It's too difficult and time consuming for me to track down and try to research people I don't know. Helmets are welcome. Be sure to use one that doesn't block your sight. Always carry "in case of emergency" numbers with you in your pack. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ This is always different, especially in summer weather, depending on the day's weather and the people on the hike. We will hike up somewhere on Red Spring and go from there. Depending on weather, we try to stay in the shade or get more or less wind. You know Vegas. Whatever.
