Join us at the Light Street Branch for Read With Pride, a book club highlighting LGBTQ+ voices. All genders, sexualities, and identities including allies are welcome! The mission of the Read With Pride Book Club is to build community and promote awareness of diverse LGBTQ+ perspectives. The book club’s selection for LGBTQ+ History Month in October is Marsha: The Joy and Defiance of Marsha P. Johnson by Tourmaline - "Black trans luminary Tourmaline brings to life the first definitive biography of the revolutionary activist Marsha P. Johnson, one of the most important and remarkable figures in LGBTQ+ history, revealing her story, her impact, and her legacy." Registration is recommended.
