Tickets: $63-$264 (All In Pricing) Union County Performing Arts Center welcomes Punjabi folk superstar Ranjit Bawa to the historic Main Stage for one unforgettable night, as part of his Folk Star USA Tour presented by Hype Entertainment. Backed by his full live band and dance troupe, Bawa brings the sound and spirit of Punjab to New Jersey, from soulful folk anthems to full-throttle bhangra that will have the entire theater on its feet. One of the most beloved voices in Punjabi music, Ranjit Bawa broke out with “Jatt Di Akal,” which earned him the Best World Album debut on the BritAsia charts and announced a singular new voice rooted in traditional Punjabi folk. In the decade since, he has become a defining artist of his generation with hits including “Sardari,” “Ja Ve Mundeya,” “Mitti Da Bawa” and “Yaari Chandigarh Waliye,” celebrated for lyrics that honor Punjabi culture, faith and everyday life. Bawa has also starred in Punjabi cinema, cementing his place as one of the most versatile entertainers to emerge from Punjab. His live shows are legendary, a high-energy celebration of music, dance and Punjabi pride that unites generations.
