Random Recorder Rally at Danville Public Library

RANDOM RECORDER RALLY! Saturday, September 19, 2026 10:00 AM on the Library Lawn* Let’s see how many people we can get playing Hot Cross Buns at the same time! Join us on the library lawn for this positively random celebration of music, community, and whimsy. Whether you’re a seasoned recorder player or only remember three notes from elementary school, you’re invited! The library will provide FREE recorders to the first 300 participants! September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and this year’s theme is “A Library Card Hits All the Right Notes!” We’re marking the occasion with a silly, joyful event that’s guaranteed to make some noise. No registration required. Just bring your sense of humor and your enthusiasm! See you on the lawn! *Note: We will meet in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room if the weather does not cooperate.
