Railroad Ties - A Collaborative Project on Local Railroad History

Discover local history on the big screen with staff of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, Des Plaines History Center, and Mount Prospect Historical Society for a viewing of their new documentary, Railroad Ties. This collaborative project explores how the railroad, and access to it, shaped the development of each of these communities from small farming towns to the bustling suburbs of today. After the showing, the Railroad Ties team will hold a Q&A session. This program is presented in partnership with the Mount Prospect Historical Society.
