RAGGED BLUE @ PROGRESSION BREWING CO.

RAGGED BLUE | LIVE AT PROGRESSION BREWING Saturday, December 5 | 7 – 9:30pm What happens when bluegrass meets Celtic fiddle tunes, swing, and a few unexpected pop favorites? You get Ragged Blue, a New England acoustic quartet that doesn’t believe in staying within musical boundaries. Featuring John Rough on banjo, Corki Demers on fiddle and mandolin, Joe Blumenthal on upright bass, and Terry Atkinson on acoustic guitar, Ragged Blue brings together four musicians whose instrumental talents are matched by rich three- and four-part vocal harmonies. Their repertoire wanders through traditional ballads, lively jigs, old-time fiddle tunes, jazz-influenced arrangements, and inventive interpretations of contemporary songs. One moment might find you tapping along to a spirited Celtic melody, while the next takes an unexpected turn into swing, folk, or a recognizable pop classic with an acoustic twist. With an appreciation for musical tradition and a willingness to play outside the lines, Ragged Blue offers an eclectic evening where you never quite know what’s coming next. FREE LIVE MUSIC | NO COVER Progression Brewing Company 9 Pearl Street, Northampton, MA Taproom is 18+ after 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
