No Cover Charge Raffia is a New York–born, Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter whose soulful, sultry voice—shaped by early choir work and influences like Whitney Houston, Anita Baker and Rachelle Ferrell—ranges from intimate ballads to powerhouse dance tracks reminiscent of Chaka Khan and Aretha Franklin.
