About this event
The R. Popescu Jazz Trio is a jazz ensemble based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, dedicated to delivering an authentic and captivating musical experience. Led by the sophisticated fretwork of guitarist Robert Popescu, and anchored by the deeply intuitive rhythm section of Dave on bass and Marc on drums, the trio brings a refined elegance and dynamic energy to every performance. Designed for true jazz fans and venues that prioritize a high-quality listening atmosphere, the R. Popescu Jazz Trio seamlessly bridges the gap between classic jazz tradition and modern musicality. Their repertoire spans the energetic heights of up-tempo swing, the romantic lyricism of timeless ballads, and the infectious, sophisticated grooves of Bossa Nova. Tickets are $5 and we appreciate your musical donations too! Parking is free around the joint where you can find it.
