About this event
Come dance at Studio 13 to queer anthems and dance favorites from the 1960s to today, with music by DJ and Studio 13 owner Jason Zeman. Drinks will be available for purchase. Inspired by the Sunday afternoon gay tea dances that began in New York City in the 1950s and 60s, this event brings that tradition to Iowa City with an early, welcoming dance party. Hosted by Queer Elders of Iowa City. Anyone queer-friendly is welcome.
