About this event
Working with their peers, writers will discuss ways to make their work marketable, whether it is to agents, publishers or readers. Writers will practice talking about their work succinctly. The discussion will be moderated by a writer who has gone through the publishing process in the genre. This session will also allow writers to meet make connections with other writers. About the Moderator Jeremy Billingsley is a published author and owner/editor-in-chief of Sley House Publishing. His novels Ristenoff and Under the Churchyard in the Chamber of Bone dive deeply into horror and the southern gothic, as do Jeremy's short stories, published in various markets over the years. As a professor, Jeremy has taught literature courses on both subjects as well as creative writing workshops. This session is part of our Publishing Pathways series for adults interested in writing and publishing their work, including poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and journalistic writing of all lengths and styles. Join us to sharpen your skills, connect with fellow writers, and take the next step toward publication! For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7250 or email questions@faylib.org 2-3 weekdays before a program. Plan your visit by viewing our building map and details on accessibility services.
