Protest Song Writing Club

Conference Rm B. Write a protest song with us as we celebrate Black History Month through the power of music! No prior musical skills are required. Together, we will remix a historically significant protest song, writing our own verses through spoken word, rap, or singing. This program will take place in two sessions. On day one, we will learn, brainstorm, and write. On day two, we will put our verses to music and record them using our AV cart and Tech Studio. Anyone is welcome to participate and record on their own, but if you'd like to contribute to our collective studio recording, a release waiver will be required. Patrons under 18 will need a guardian to sign for them.
