About this event

Ready to go beyond the basics of the Arduino Starter Kit? Take the core logic of the famous Project 10: Zoetrope and upgrade it into a high-powered, adjustable fan. In this session, we’ll swap the standard L293D H-Bridge for the beefier L298N Motor Driver module. While the original Zoetrope spins a paper cylinder, our version drives a high-speed DC motor with a plastic fan blade to move some serious air. Prerequisite: Completing Project 10: Zoetrope from the Arduino Starter Kit. Patrons can stop by Groundworks any time Groundworks is open to complete this project before registering for this workshop. No appointment necessary. Groundworks will provide all materials including laptops and the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Attendees are more than welcome to bring and use their own laptops with the Arduino IDE pre-installed. All registrants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This event is a part of the Holland Amateur Radio Club’s monthly education and training program.
