About this event
We are excited to be marching in the Charleston Pride Parade on October 17th. The parade starts at 9 but we need to be there by 8:25am. We are in Group G! Ask the coordinators in Wragg Square to help you find where Group G is located if maps are unavailable. You can also text or call me to get the exact location. Charleston Pride strives to highlight the uniqueness and diversity of our community. All are welcome to help spread love and queer joy. We will begin marching down Ann Street to King Street, then right on to King Street, and stop at Market Street, starting at 9 am. The area at Marion Square will include an MC to highlight groups as they pass and an ADA seating area. DM Steph and check the comments for specific meeting locations closer to the day of the event. I suggest parking in the visitors center garage. That's usually close to the start location of the parade.
