Join Historic Seattle for a workshop on the evolving landscape of historic preservation in Seattle in 2026. Learn about the current landmark designation process, recent changes that create new barriers to preservation and advocacy, and strategies being used today to protect historic places, including Historic Seattle’s Landmarks Project. The workshop will include opportunities for discussion and Q&A. Presenters include Eugenia Woo, Jeff Murdock, and Sarah Martin of Historic Seattle, along with Erin Doherty and Sarah Sodt from the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Historic Preservation Program.
