Preservation: A Kinks Tribute at Jonathan’s

Our Boston based Tribute Band, Preservation: A Kinks Tribute, will bring you all the excitement of a Kinks live concert. Preservation digs deep into the Kinks song catalog (Twentieth Century Man, See My Friends) while delivering the classic hits (Lola, You Really Got Me). Led by George Belli (lead guitar. vocals) with current members of his well known band The Retroactivists, Larry Newman (bass, vocals), Jim Wayda (drums) and Louise Belli (acoustic guitar, vocals), plus Tom Reid (keyboards, vocals). George, Larry and Tom have played together for 40 years in various Boston bands, notably The Real and Preservation. as part of the 80’s Punk/New Wave Scene in Boston. This tribute celebrates the great songwriting of Ray Davies. George Belli as Ray on lead vocals, comes highly recommended. Dave Davies once said to George, “You sound astonishingly like my brother Ray!” after George sang a song with him on stage.
