About this event
Join us for a music and community-building program with folk singer Joanie Calem and Life Builders. Children and their families will sing, dance, and connect with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through diverse experiences, we build empathy and learn that we all have likes, interests, and things in common, even if we seem different. The songs and activities have been chosen to promote the themes of friendship, inclusion, and the power to make a difference. Sponsored by Seeds of Caring. Parking is limited. Overflow parking available at Whittier Elementary School (130 E Walnut St, Westerville, OH 43081). If your child is ages 0-7, you or a caregiver (age 18+) must remain in the room to supervise for the duration of the event.
