PPL TTRPG Club - Dungeons & Dragons

About this event

Board Room. Interested in seeing if tabletop role-playing games might be for you, but intimidated by the thick rulebooks? Want to experience TTRPGs new and old without having to struggle with all the prep that comes with running a game or finding someone to? Come join the PPL TTRPG Club, the library's official teen program for all things tabletop role-playing! Our resident game masters will run a series of games using a variety of TTRPG systems intended to introduce our players to the breadth of content that TTRPGs have to offer! This month we're playing a classic to a new tune of monster mashing, sword swinging, spell slinging fantasy in the form of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition! Dungeons and Dragons is the archetypical fantasy TTRPG, focusing on a small party of fantastical heroes solving problems with their wits and the special skills their characters possess. Our party of intrepid heroes will have to navigate unfamiliar lands, insidious threats, and myriad mysteries if they want to escape with not only their treasures but their very lives! Pregenerated characters will be provided, as will refreshments, appropriate for beginners and veterans, patrons aged 12-17 welcome!
