Historic Tacoma presents a free, visual journey through the Cushman Substation's history and Tacoma's national influence on hydropower development. Local historian Chris Staudinger will lead the presentation, sharing historic photos and exclusive interior footage. Before each presentation, families can enjoy hands-on static electricity experiments, coloring sheets, and puzzles. Bring your curiosity—questions welcome afterward. Free and open to all ages at Tacoma Public Library branches citywide. Presented by Historic Tacoma, funded by Tacoma Creates/City of Tacoma, and hosted by Tacoma Public Library.
