Pour and Explore: Slo Cro!

Welcome to SloCro, our Pour and Explore journey through Slovenia and Croatia — two neighboring wine countries that deserve a lot more attention than they get. This isn’t your standard sit-in-a-chair-and-listen class. Pour and Explore is half guided tasting, half walk-around wine adventure. We’ll begin together with the big picture: where these countries are, why their wine cultures are so fascinating, and the grapes and regions worth knowing. Then we’ll turn you loose to taste, compare, revisit favorites, ask questions, and explore. And there’s a lot to explore. Slovenia sits at the crossroads of Italy, Austria, Hungary, and the Balkans, producing everything from crisp alpine whites to serious skin-contact wines and elegant reds. Croatia stretches from the cool continental north to the sun-soaked Adriatic coast, with ancient grapes, dramatic vineyards, and wines that can feel simultaneously familiar and completely new. You’ll taste wines with grapes you may have never heard of, discover regions you probably haven’t visited, and very likely find a few bottles you’ll want to hunt down afterward. Get tickets here.
