The all-day train ride offers views of Pennsylvania’s fall scenery and time to explore historic downtown Jim Thorpe. Excursions run September 26–27; October 3–4, 10–11, 17–18, 24–25 and 31; and November 1, 7–8 and 14–15. Boarding at Pottsville Union Station begins at 8 AM, with departure at 8:30 AM. Additional stops include Schuylkill Haven at 8:45 AM, Port Clinton at 9:17 AM, The Village at Houser’s Crossing at 9:50 AM and Tamaqua at 10:05 AM. The Houser’s Crossing stop is exclusive to overnight guests. The train arrives in Jim Thorpe by 11 AM. Passengers reboard at 2:50 PM for a 3:20 PM departure.
