Hear ye! Hear ye! Lords, ladies, and all good patrons we invite you to attend the annual Potomac Library Renaissance Faire! Join us for both learning and revelry. Throughout the day you may hear whimsical tales, create magical dice, discover animal friends, and more! Order of Events All Day: Passive renaissance arts and crafts for all ages. 10:30 a.m.- Bee Story Time Beekeeping is the art of caring for bees, with the benefit of harvesting honey! Humans have been harvesting honey for thousands of years, including the Renaissance age. Come for a special bee story time and learn all about bees from a library team member who is also a beekeeper. 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.- Chainmail Creations Learn how to make chainmail and make your own unique craft to take home. First come, first seated. 1:00 p.m.- Dice Delight* Create your own dice set. Teens and Adults only. *Registration required. See separate event post to register. 1:00- 2:15 p.m.- Renaissance Falconry Learn about the art of falconry from the renaissance age and modern day times, and meet some real-life birds! A brief presentation will be given about falconry followed by time for questions and photos with the visiting birds.
