A variety concert featuring barrelhouse pianist Ethan Leinwand in 4 duo combinations! – w/ vocalist Valerie Kirchhoff (Miss Jubilee) – 1920s and 30s jazz and blues – w/ guitarist Nick Pence – Original material from The Bottlesnakes and more – w/ multi-instrumentalist TJ Müller – Ragtime and early blues – w/ guitarist Mat Wilson – Piano/guitar blues Ethan Leinwand is a St. Louis based pianist specializing in ragtime and barrelhouse blues. Born and raised in Connecticut, Ethan moved to St. Louis in 2014 to connect with the city’s deep piano roots. He performs locally and throughout the country, and is the co-founder and president of The St. Louis Ragtime Initiative, a newly formed non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and pride for St. Louis’s cultural claim to ragtime music.
