About this event
After Election Day, staff confirm the accuracy of the ballot-counting equipment. In this audit, also known as the Random Batch Audit, trained staff hand-count the batches of ballots randomly selected by the representatives of the major political parties and compare the results of the hand-counts to the vote-counting equipment totals.
